General Site Rules

• Theft of the Skin, images, content or any other aspect of the site is not permitted.
  
  
• Shared accounts, as well as more than one account per person, is not allowed. Should you desperately need to have seperate accounts for characters, please contact me to arrange something.
  
  
• Offensive material is not permitted anywhere on the site.
  
  
• Chat-speak and L33t are not permitted on the site, as it is a roleplaying site for people who understand the English language. A select few words that are shorter versions of longer words (such as 'brb', 'lol', 'ASAP') are permitted in the non roleplaying areas of the site. Roleplaying posts and Character Applications are not to contain these words.
  
  
• Do not post images that stretch the board. If you need to post one it must be done in link form.
  
  
• In the case of harassment the incident must be reported to an administrator or moderator.
  
  
• If any of the rules of the site are broken, the member(s) responsible may receive a warning, loss of karma or catlons, suspension or the deletion of their account depending upon the severity of the rule they have broken.
  
  
  General Roleplaying Rules
  
  
• All roleplaying posts must be at least 150 words. Any less and you will be asked to modify your post.
  
  
• Characters cannot be roleplayed before being accepted.
  
  
• Characters can be any type of big cat. However, some of the more common ones are:
  
  + Lion
  
  + Tiger
  
  + Leopard
  
  + Jaguar/Panther
  
  + Cheetah
  
  + Bobcat
  
  + Cougar
  
  + Serval
  
  + Saber Tooth Tiger (limited)
  
  
• Power playing and god-modeling is not accepted on Wildfang. The act of power playing is to control another characters actions (Ex: he hit her across the face) whilst god-modeling is to make your character god-like (EX: invincible, has magic powers)
  
  
• You cannot double post in a thread, and if you wish to add something you must modify the post. However after 5 days if no one has posted you are allowed to 'BUMP' up your thread.
  
  
• A member is only allowed to have up to 15 living cats at any time(exclusions apply). If a member wishes to have more than 15 characters they must use the Character Hotel.
  
  
• All cats have the same rights, regardless of gender.
  
  
  Prides
  
  
• A pride consists of several ranks:
  
  
  + Pride Leaders - Lead the pride
  
  + Deputy - Second is command, usually assist the leaders
  
  + Healer - tends to the ill and wounded
  
  + Lead Warrior - leads the warriors
  
  + Lead Hunter - leads the hunters
  
  + Warriors - Do the majority of the fighting
  
  + Hunters - Do the majority of the hunting
  
  
• Each pride will have different rules that affect and help lead its members, as well as extra ranks within the hierarchy.
  
  
  Healers
  
  
• Healers must be at least 3 years old
  
  
• Before becoming a healer the cat must go to Snowy's Den and be trained by Snowy.
  
  
• Is attacked a healer is permitted to defend themselves. However, they are not permitted to fight otherwise.
  
  
• A healer may choose his or her successor. The successor can be a cub from their litter or a cat who wishes to become healer.
  
  
• If a healer is deemed not up to the task of healing they may be stripped of their rank and replaced at any time.
  
  
  Mating and Giving Birth
  
  
• Mating cannot be graphic.
  
  
• You are not permitted to mate your cat without the permission of the other person.
  
  
• You cannot mate two of your own cats together.
  
  
• When giving birth a queen must do so in Old Oak River. If you want otherwise then you must ask the main administrator for permission.
  
  
• The main administrator decides upon the stats of litter. This includes how many cubs there how, the genders, their appearance and whether or not they are ill or dead.
  
  
  Battles
  
  
• Battles must take place in either Battle Mountain (single battles) or Battle Forest (Pride battles)
  
  
• In pride battles 5 members of each pride can battle.
  
  
• In each battle there will be 5 posts per person, and either an administrator or moderator will decide who wins.
  
  
• All battles must be fought one on one.
  
  
  Pride Gatherings
  
  
• Pride Gatherings must occur are Moonpelt's Lake
  
  
• 7 cats from each pride may attend the gathering
  
  
• Cats are not permitted to fight at Pride Gatherings
  
  
• The Pride Gathering can not last more than one night
  
  
  The Afterlife
  
  
• Cats that die will face Judgment to determine whether or not they belong in Heaven or Hell.
  
  
• Spirits are able to contact living cats through dreams. Spirits from the Kingdom of the Heaven Sent are sometimes allowed to contact the living in other ways.
  
  
• Spirits who live in the Kingdom of the Hell Bound are not permitted to walk in the Kingdom of the Heaven Sent.
  
  
  All members are adviced to read through these rules carefully. No blame can be put upon the administrator, moderators or members of Wildfang because you did not read the rules and so felt the consequences of your actions.
